In Tom Walker’s album, “I Am,” the fourth track, “Freaking Out,” blends vulnerability with humor in a relatable way. The song captures the familiar anxiety experienced in social situations through catchy lyrics and fun melodies.

The song starts at a party where everything feels overwhelming, and the desire to escape is strong. Walker openly discusses feeling out of place, a feeling anyone who has been in a crowd can relate to. His wish to just be “whatever” adds a light touch, reminding us it’s okay to feel a little off sometimes.

Musically, “Freaking Out” has a lively beat that balances the deeper themes of anxiety and self-doubt. The chorus is catchy, inviting everyone to sing along and embrace their quirks. Walker’s humorous confessions about stumbling over apologies make it a comforting anthem for anyone dealing with insecurities.

This track shines not just for its upbeat feel, but for its honesty. It’s all about accepting our flaws and learning to laugh at ourselves, even when things get chaotic. So whether you’re at a party or just chilling at home, “Freaking Out” is a great reminder that we all feel a bit freaked out sometimes. Turn it up and enjoy!
